Quality Time

As my daughter has gotten older I’ve let her tag along more and more to my sessions. She has perfected the noisemakers and getting little ones to look toward the camera. She’s learning how to hold the reflector to get just the right light. Melt my heart, she’s even perfected spot-on focus on the a subject’s eyes when I give her the camera set at f1.8. When I first started with my camera in manual I was happy just to get a photo in focus at f8.0!

What other job can you take your daughter to work and then spend quality time afterwards on a beautiful fall evening walking around, taking in the sites, capturing great images of her and sharing your knowledge of your job?  I’m one lucky photographer and mom.  For that I am thankful!!
